Overview

A Geographic Information System (GIS) is a system that is designed to capture, store, manipulate, analyze, manage, and present different types of geographic data. The City of Van Buren's goal is to provide relevant geographic data and analysis to the public to better serve the citizens of Van Buren. Data requests will be honored in the form of either a Shapefile or DWG file. Information requests for county data will be referred to the county assessors office. This includes, but is not limited to, parcel data layers. Flood Zone data layer requests will be referred to the FEMA Map Services Center website.
